Oscar J. Martinez, MD, FACEP

Board Certified in Emergency Medicine · UT Southwestern Medical School

Dr. Martinez was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. He graduated from The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, where he also completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at Parkland Hospital.

Driven by a passion for helping underserved communities, he founded the non-profit GivingMore.org in 2011, providing free medical care and education to rural villages in southwest Nicaragua. His commitment to patient care earned him the Thomas Frist Humanitarian Award.
